Llangasty Parish Hall was built in 1929 to provide a place for the community to meet for “social gatherings and entertainment”.
Llangasty Hall is a treasured part of the scattered communities around Llangors Lake. It is a very traditional building which is part of its charm. An even bigger draw is the tremendous view over the lake looking towards the hills.
The hall supports our community by hosting a variety of events such as WI, talks, Yoga, Harvest Supper, Art classes, band practice, jumble sales and coffee mornings. We plan to make the hall more sustainable by planting saplings and wildflower areas, and encouraging local children to take part in nature days.
We have to fund all building maintenance and overheads from a limited income. All we ask is a small donation to help us keep the hall and car park open for the community and visitors for another 90 years.
