Children’s health charity MedEquip4Kids helps give every child the best medical care by providing equipment not available from limited NHS resources.
Since 1985 the Manchester-based charity has raised over £20 million for enhanced medical equipment in neo natal or children’s units, improved play and sensory facilities, and specialised disability equipment. It supports young people’s mental health through delivering the Hummingbird Project, a series of psychology workshops in North West schools. Kaelan (pictured) was born 16 weeks early weighing just 1lb 10oz. He urgently needed help to breathe, first from a ventilator, then a CPAP machine, and finally a vapotherm unit. Thanks to MedEquip4Kids, all the right equipment was on hand at Royal Preston Hospital to care for him. Donating to MedEquip4Kids will help give babies and children like Kaelan the good start in life they all deserve.
