Mountview has a national and international reputation as a top UK drama school and we are recognised as a world-leading provider of musical theatre training. We train performers, directors, musical directors, creative producers, stage managers and
technicians. We also deliver one year Foundation-level training and an extensive range of short course programmes for young people and adults.
Our alumni include Olivier Award winners Rebecca Trehearn (Showboat), Brendan Coyle (Downton Abbey) and Ken Stott (The Hobbit) all trained at Mountview, as well as Evening Standard Award-winning director Michael Longhurst (Amadeus), Ed Hall (Artistic Director, Hampstead Theatre), writer Alecky Blythe (London Road), director Maria Aberg (Dr Faustus, RSC) and actor Douglas Henshall (Shetland). Emerging stars include Olivier-nominated Tyrone Huntley (Jesus Christ Superstar) and 2017 Stage Debut Awards nominee Samuel Thomas (Allegro, Southwark Playhouse).
