On Monday, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck Turkey and Syria. The epicenter was near Gaziantep, Turkey. More than 100 aftershock have occurred since then.

Media is reporting over 8500 killed with many more injured or unaccounted for. Funds raised will be given to relief organisations providing on-the-ground support to local communities.
