Whether an attendee or a contributor, Notting Hill Carnival is such an important part of so many people's lives and a key celebration and demonstration of inclusion and diversity in the UK. It was founded to bring people together during trying times, and this year more than ever we are committed to continuing with that legacy by supporting the development of Carnival Arts and our long serving partnership with St John Ambulance. Notting Hill Carnival has worked with the volunteers of St John Ambulance to ensure the welfare of our attendees for decades, and we aim to continue this invaluable partnership for decades to come.
Carnival Arts fund
As the biggest display of Carnival arts in the UK, Notting Hill Carnival is a spectacular event showcasing the best in Mas, Steelpan, Calypso, Brazillian Bands and Sound Systems. However, it is only made possible through the hard work and dedication of the Carnival community. Your donations will be used to support and elevate Carnival Arts, promoting the arts, craft and business of a relatively unsung art form in the UK, extending knowledge and understanding of Caribbean Carnival arts and the history and culture of London’s Notting Hill Carnival.
St John Ambulance
St John Ambulance steps forward in the moments that matter, to save lives and keep communities safe. They are a volunteer-led, charitable non-governmental organisation dedicated to the teaching and practice of first aid. All their charitable work is entirely funded by donations. St John Ambulance has supported Notting Hill Carnival by supplying emergency services across the Carnival weekend over many years. As a valued partner, we want to take this opportunity to honour their commitment to the safety and wellbeing of all Carnivalists and their continued support of our community during the COVID-19 crisis.
