Museum of Oxford Development Trust
The Museum of Oxford Development Trust was founded to support the work of the Museum of Oxford by raising funds to further their charitable aims.The Museum of Oxford’s Explore Oxford see more than 75,000 people visit annually, with more than 100 trained local volunteers support visitors as they explore the galleries and Town Hall spaces. Extensive outreach programmes are in place and the museum works with around 25 community groups, including Jewish Heritage, Youth Ambition, the Oxford Hindu Temple, and Memory Lane reminiscence groups. Oxford’s Hidden Histories will see the Museum of Oxford transformed into a vibrant and exciting new Museum. Our vision is for a people’s museum, a resource for discovering, interpreting, and sharing the heritage of Oxford’s diverse communities.
