Pendle Leisure Trust is seeking financial support to help it survive the COVID pandemic.
As a charitable organisation, it exists for the benefit of the local community. It is a not for profit business and every pound spent with us is invested back into improving and updating our facilities and activities.
COVID-19 has greatly affected the services Pendle Leisure Trust provides. With some of our centres still currently closed due to the Government’s restrictions, we have a very limited income coming in.
At a time like this, where both physical and mental health and well-being is more important than ever, it’s essential to keep local leisure facilities open.
We would welcome any financial support – from individuals who want to contribute to the facilities that are so important to them, to businesses or any benefactors willing to donate.
All contributions will solely contribute towards The Trust’s continued provision of well-being for Pendle’s residents, whether it’s through healthier lifestyles, socialising or fitness.
Two anonymous donations from kind-hearted customers has set the financial ball rolling. Envelopes containing cash and hand-written notes arrived in the post. The notes read: ‘This is a donation to help with what you have lost. I have been using the Trust’s facilities a long time’.
Kind gestures like this are what the Trust needs right now to help keep our services and facilities operating.
We understand this is a very difficult time for everyone, but any help offered will be greatly appreciated.
