Protect the Medics, founded in 2018, provides mental health support to medical professionals.

Protect the Medics provides various mental health services to medical professionals. These services include both group and one-to-one support sessions with our qualified mentors. We want to ensure that the medics always have somewhere to turn, and somebody to speak to when the often traumatic experiences of the workplace become testing. Although there are a number of mental health charities in the country, there are only a couple offering support specifically to medics, although these other charities require the medics to be referred by a doctor, we are the only charity who offer help to any medic that needs us, without the awkwardness of having to admit the struggle to their doctor. By supporting us, you are helping us to provide these services completely free to the medical professionals, ensuring that they receive all of the help, with none of the financial burdens.
