Regain supports men and women that have become paralysed after a sporting accident
Regain is the only Uk Charity dedicated solely to improving the independence of British men and women who have become tetraplegic as a result of a sporting accident. Regain provides both practical and emotional support for tetraplegics after their accident. The Charity provides up to £150,000 in grants each year for tetraplegics to buy equipment to help them get back their independence. Equipment like sports wheelchairs, hand bikes, e-motion wheels, computer aided equipment. Regain has helped a number of tetraplegics to compete in the Paralympic games. Many others have been encouraged to complete a range of challenge events whilst others have been assisted in relation to employment, education and training including University, technical and vocational training. Regain also provides grants for respite care for tetraplegics family members who need a break.
