Rotary Club of Stafford Castle Santa Sleigh Collection 2020SCSLEIGH

Each Year The Rotary Club of Stafford Castle raise in the region of £20,000 for many local Schools and Charities.  Our Three main Fundraisers are our Race Night, held in October, Fireworks Spectacular around Bonfire Night and our Santa's Sleigh Street collection during December.  2020 has been somewhat challenging for us and for the local community we serve.  Race Night and Fireworks were obviously cancelled and due to the restrictions around Coronavirus we have had to amend our Santa's Sleigh arrangements.  Traditionally, we have knocked door to door around many of the major estates that surround Stafford Town centre as well as collecting in the Town centre on the Saturdays leading up to Christmas.  Due to obvious health concerns we cannot put at risk our members nor the public by knocking on doors as we usually do. So as a club we have decided that come what may Santa will be touring the estates of Stafford to bring much needed cheer to everyone, espeically the children.  So if you would like to help us support the numerous charities we provide financial assistance to, please donate as anything you can to our Christmas appeal.
