SASH prevents young people from homelessness through providing a safe place to stay in a volunteer’s home.

SASH is a community response, which addresses the alarming issue of homelessness among young people. Our unique approach provides accommodation in the home of a volunteer host to ensure a safe, caring & nurturing environment. Our volunteer ‘hosts’ are ordinary people with a spare room who want to help young people at a time of crisis. Together we prevent a vicious circle of homelessness & unemployment through: - Both long and short term, emergency accommodation - Support to our young people to maintain or gain education, training or employment - A range of volunteering, recreational & cultural activities for our young people to help both broaden horizons & increase aspirations.
