Shropshire Mind is a local mental health charity that works together with many other partners to provide the support and guidance that many of us will need as we cope with the emotional rigors of life. The charity operates telephone support, email and internet (zoom), face to face and outreach. The charity focuses on the needs of the local population, with all services been driven by the current needs of the population. A crisis support service operates every night in support of the Police and Ambulance services, which averted over 700 potential suicides in 2019, it is an award-winning service that has won accolades for its innovate and person centred approach to support. Groups run throughout the daytime, varying from arts and crafts to mindfulness, allowing every person to express themselves freely. A drop-in service runs 7 days a week, allowing anyone to attend at any time. We never know when we are going to feel unwell, so you can approach us any day of the week.
