Since 1964, Sing for Pleasure has been changing lives through unlocking the transformative power of the human voice.
We've supported thousands of teachers to foster high-quality singing in schools and choirs. Some of the UK's most respected vocal leaders and conductors have graduated from our unrivalled training programmes. We've published hundreds of musical resources and mounted choral workshops and singing weekends in cities far and wide.
In 2024, Sing for Pleasure celebrates its 60th anniversary. But now we need your help. Demand for our work has increased but so has the cost of delivering more activity to communities across the four nations. We also know the cost of living crisis is making it harder for young musicians to fund their skills development - which is why we've launched a dedicated bursary programme to ensure no-one misses out on the chance to undergo a Sing for Pleasure training programme.
We have exciting plans to expand our work into healthcare and community settings, working with national partners to ensure anybody, regardless of skills or background, benefits from the social, mental and physical benefits of singing. But all this means we're more reliant than ever on the support of generous donors.
By texting a £5 donation now, you would cover the printing and postage costs of a song sheet. £50 would pay for an hour-long singing workshop in schools or communities. £500 helps with the cost of hiring a small venue for a whole day of choral workshops and expert tuition or funds a scholarship for an emerging vocal leader to participate in a weekend training programme. But any amount - large or small - will make a huge difference to a charity run almost entirely by volunteers. Our administrative costs are deliberately kept to a minimum to ensure we spend as much of our income as possible on delivering our charitable objectives.

Supporting Sing for Pleasure with a donation means you're helping to protect the future of choral music in the UK - and transforming lives through the power of the human voice.
Thank you.
