This year, the Bishop's Lent Appeal is in aid of work led by the Mothers' Union in northern Kenya, which seeks to empower women through literacy and business training. The Mothers' Union are working in partnership with Five Talents, who specialise in supporting micro-finance projects that enable women to change their own lives, and those of their families and communities. As a church we want to contribute to this diocesan appeal, as we have done in previous years. If you would like to be part of that contribution, we would be so grateful for your donation.
