St Luke’s Hospice Plymouth is an independent charity providing specialist care and support to people with progressive life-limiting illnesses.
Our vision is a community where no person has to die alone, in pain or distress. We care for people with serious illnesses such as cancer, motor neurone disease, heart failure, multiple sclerosis and chronic lung disease, treating any adult over the age of 18. We do all we can to involve patients in decisions about their care, to maintain privacy and dignity in providing that care and to respect patients’ individual rights and religious and cultural beliefs. Our approach to care is holistic, centred on the needs of the individual patient.
We need to raise more than £7.8 million a year to continue to run our services. This would not be possible if it wasn’t for you, our supporters.
There are lots of ways that you can support us, from taking part in an event to raising money at work or making a monthly donation. Whatever you choose to do, you’ll be helping us to ensure everyone in our community receives the best care and support at the end of their life.
