St Mary’s is the Church of England parish church for Horbury Junction, Wakefield.

St. Mary’s Church building is open every Wednesday afternoon, 2.30-3.30pm, for private prayer and the lighting of a candle. What a lovely oasis of peace and quiet! On Sunday’s worship starts at 10am for about 40 minutes. For families with children, Fun Family Church continues in church, this year on the 3rd Saturday of each month, with specially prepared worship resources being emailed out to families who would like to receive them. Finally, for now, our circumstances will continue to evolve over the coming weeks and months; though we don’t yet know how. In these challenging times, one thing’s for sure: God is God and God is faithful. May God be for us all a source of strength.
