St Joseph's Catholic High School are celebrating. This academic year marks 90 years of the school being at the heart of the Workington community where we have served generations of families and we look forward to serving the generations to come.
We would like to thank all our past students and parents for their support over this time . As part of our celebrations we are launching a campaign to grow our library so that all our students benefit from reading a wide variety of books. Our library desperately needs more books and we are asking parents, ex-pupils, the local community and buisinesses to donate towards our campaign to increase and improve the stock of books in our library. We know reading for pleasure promotes a sense of well being and calm. It can:
- Help pupils feel they are not alone
- Help pupils face things that are hard to talk about
- Help pupils understand things you are not sure about
- Help pupils share worries with others
- Help pupils relax and de-stress
If you can support our campaign, please either donate online or via text. You can also set up a regular donation.
If you would like to discuss a larger donation, please contact the school on 01900 873290.
Thank you, from the students and staff of St Joseph's Catholic High School.
