Sunrise Partnership is a charity based in Aberdeen, Scotland which offers a free loss and bereavement support service for children and young people up to age 18. We work in Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire.

Anyone could be affected by grief or loss at any time. For children and young people this can have a long-lasting impact on their mental health, behaviour and choices through adulthood. That is why Sunrise is passionate about delivering the right support at the right time. We are professionals and we deliver this support for free, when it is needed and for as long as it is useful. Over the last year we have delivered over 1,000 one to one support sessions to local children and young people. A session may help a child to understand that they can still love a person who is no longer in their lives, or give a young person permission to feel angry about their situation, processing their feelings in a positive way. The cost of one of these important sessions is £35 and Sunrise must raise every penny directly. Please help us to carry on supporting our children and young people by making a donation to Sunrise.
