It is the charity’s ethos to not only give young artistic talent the opportunity to produce new and exciting work, but to also help provide a platform for it to be presented on.
We are proud to say that the majority of the new works presented at 'Ballet Under The Stars' at Hatch House Wiltshire, over the past decade have been created by emerging choreographers and dancers supported by the Dicky Buckle Fund. We are hugely grateful to Covent Garden Dance for their continued support of the charity's work and providing a stage for our funded works to be debuted.
This year’s 2023 programme features a recently created work by former Royal Ballet Principal dancer and long term Hatch Ballet supporter Mara Galeazzi who will perform it with internationally renowned artist Jason Kittelberger.
Just prior to the shows each July, the charity holds its ‘Children's Open Rehearsal Afternoon’ which offers the incredible opportunity of watching the talented cast of Ballet Under The Stars in open rehearsal. By holding events such as these, we very much aim to widen access to dance for all and help inspire the next generation of talented artists.
Each February, the charity also holds a Ballet Fundraiser, which offers a wonderful evening of insight and performance whilst helping to raise funds to support the charity’s work,
With your kind support The Dicky Buckle Fund is committed to expanding and building on its successes to give more young people access and support to this incredible art form.
We are hugely grateful for all contributions, no matter how large or small.
Thank you for your support!
