DUKA is based in East London and a registered charity since 1978 with Objects covering Poverty, Health, Education, Culture, Youth and Elderly.

The charity functions through a volunteer Management Committee, Sub-Committees, Working Groups and Teams. The structure aims to encourage engagement and inclusion of the membership and achieve a holistic approach to what we do on behalf of our communities. Our Mas Domnik UK Carnival Band project offers people of various ages and communities the opportunity to get involved in the creative elements of our cultural heritage, e.g. costume design, production, dance and parading at Carnivals in the UK and Europe.
