The Hive Wirral Youth Zone and Claire House Children’s Hospice have teamed up to launch Bee Happy, a campaign to put smiles on the faces of young people who simply need to forget their worries for an afternoon.
Claire House is an incredible facility, which allows seriously and terminally ill children live life to the full by creating wonderful experiences and bringing back a sense of normality to family life. The Hive supports around 4,000 member young people, symbolising adventure and fun for all young people, where they can try new experiences, learn new skills and always rely on having somebody to talk to.
The two much-loved charities have decided to launch a monthly event called Bee Happy, where we will turn The Hive into a dedicated party for the siblings of young people connected to Claire House.
A huge disco, magic, face painting, karaoke, climbing, giant inflatables, lunch, party bags and much more will be made available to create an afternoon in which young people can relax, build a social network, and quite simply forget their worries and Bee Happy for an afternoon!
To raise the funds to make the dream of these events a reality, we are calling on schools, businesses and community groups from the local community to come together, have some fun and gather the donations needed to launch these events.
