In 2014 actors Sarah Parish and James Murray founded The Murray Parish Trust in memory of their late daughter Ella-Jayne. The charity is dedicated to the advancement of paediatric emergency medicine across the South of England and ensures that children affected by major trauma can receive the best emergency care as close to home as possible.

Since then they have helped raise nearly £5 million in partnership with Southampton Hospital. This includes funding for a brand-new Children’s Emergency & Trauma Department, an entire iMRI suite and 2 new bed bays for the PICU.

Hares of Hampshire is their next big fundraising event with all proceeds going to the paediatric intensive care unit at Southampton Children's Hospital.
