The UK's leading charity supporting aspiring young British athletes to fulfil their potential.
Established in 1991, the Ron Pickering Memorial Fund (RPMF) raises funds to help support young aspiring talented athletes reach their true potential. The RPMF facilitates the difficult transition from junior to senior level in the sport of Athletics through financial support for equipment, specialist coaching or travel; helping retain young athletics talent within the sport and importantly help build athletes’ confidence and self esteem through recognition. Since inception, the RPMF has raised and awarded over £1.5 million grants and bursaries to over 2,500 talented young British athletes, and typically includes around 65% of all British Teams at Major Championships. Recipients are selected based on performance, potential, financial need and personal environment. Our awards are designed to make a difference. “Sport is the most precious commodity we have to hand on to the next generation” Ron Pickering OBE Read more about the RPMF at rpmf.org.uk
