The Skinners’ School Parents’ Association is an active team of parent volunteers who enjoy working together organising fundraising events for the benefit of the school and the pupils.
The fundraising activities are varied and include non-uniform days, the Christmas Fair, the Summer Ball, 200 Club and the Quiz Night
Through these events, the PA have been able to fund a number of important projects over the last few years such as the school minibus, Apple Macs for the Music Department, laptops for the Science Department and many others. The PA is also donating £25,000 to provide furniture for the new School Library.
There are 20 permanent members of the PA Committee and a wider group of parents called “Friends of the PA” who are kept informed of upcoming events. New parents can join very easily just by providing their email. They will receive our latest news and can choose from the various opportunities available to be involved and meet their new community.
