The Society for Radiological Protection Benevolent Fund (known as “the SRP Benevolent Fund” or “SRP BF” in short form) is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation registered in England and Wales with the Charity Commission and our registration number is 1172201.
As a registered charity, we have a defined object. This is:
“to provide for the financial relief of hardship normally by the making of financial grants amongst those who are, or who have been, members of the Society for Radiological Protection, their dependents, and those who are not members of the Society but who work, or have worked, in radiological protection. Such non-members would also include their dependents”.
We are a separate legal entity from the Society for Radiological Protection (SRP), but we are closely associated with it.
The SRP Benevolent Fund aims to help SRP members and non-members who work, or have worked, in the field of RP at times of financial hardship. As such, we need to raise funds so that we can provide support to your radiological profession peers at the time when they may need it. Circumstances can change for every individual or family over time and therefore it might even be you who needs support in the future. Please give generously, and routinely, to help us be in a position to provide suitable support to those in need at the time that it is required. Thank you.
