The Butterfly Ball is is a celebration event to acknowledge the delivery of 1000 donor stem cell transplants. Our aspiration is that this will be the inaugural event that initiates the BMT Room With A View Appeal. The target of the appeal is to raise funds for the refurbishment and expansion of C6 Leukaemia, Transplant and Cellular Therapy Unit. The main feature of the appeal is to generate funds to provide a neutropenic garden. Currently a large number of hospital rooms look out onto a concrete enclosed roof space. By transforming the outside space close to C6, in- patients and their families can safely leave their room to enjoy the health benefits of an outside garden space.
