When You Wish Upon a Star was founded in 1990 by Barbara White OBE and to date have had the great pleasure of granting over 18500 magical Wishes to children who are living with life threatening illnesses The Wishes range from swimming with dolphins, meeting Mickey Mouse in Florida and Paris, visiting Santa Claus in Lapland, short breaks to Center Parcs, meeting celebrities, attending football stadiums as a mascot, riding the Bullet train in Japan, European holiday destinations, being a ballerina for the day with professional Ballet Companies just to name a few..... We take pleasure in getting to know these children and their families who are going through very harsh treatments as we aim to make their magical Wish come true and help them create memories...
