In what has been a really challlenging year for everyone, we know that carers have been particularly affected by the COVID19 pandemic. The need to keep both them and the people they care for safe has meant that many people have been more isolated and anxious in 2020, and this will continue into 2021.
By carers we mean anyone who looks after someone who can't manage without their, inlcuding those caring for someone with any condition, disability, illness or addition.
Worcestershire Association of Carers has been working hard during the pandemic to support existing carers, to identify new ones and to find new means of helping people whilst complying with Government restrictions. This includes training to get carers online, running information and advice sessions and hosting wellbeing and social activites to keep carers a break from their caring roles
Any help you can give to help us continue this work at this difficult time will be greatly appreciated!
