YMCA Derbyshire was founded in 1847 and is affiliated to YMCA England.
It hosts 164 units of accommodation and provides support 24/7 365 days of the year. YMCA Derbyshire also operate Key College, offering vocational qualifications to young people aged 16-24. YMCA Derbyshire also provide various family work services across the city, including PPA Provision, breakfast, after-school and holiday activity clubs.
