A group for young carers in North Hertfordshire and Stevenage that meets fortnightly, offering respite and peer support for young people aged 8-18.

The group offers a range of activities including sports, arts and crafts and cookery in a friendly and supportive environment. We organise trips too, ranging from the local panto to a session on a climbing wall and dragon boating. There are plenty of adult volunteers, often ex-young carers themselves, who are available to listen and chat. Peer support is important too. Often feeling very isolated, many of the young carers form strong, enduring friendships when they come to the group.
