As we emerge from the Covid-19 pandemic, facing economic challenge, Care Network’s mission “to support adults and communities to improve their health and wellbeing through a person-centred approach, working alongside them to make informed choices that improve confidence and connection” remains as relevant as when the charity was established 37 years ago.
We are aiming to raise £10,000 through community and partnership fundraising events to support the delivery of our wellbeing service.
The team focus on building on individual strengths to improve wellbeing, through telephone based and practical support over a 6–8-week period. Our wellbeing staff and trained volunteers provide a range of one-to-one support that enhances wellbeing and boosts confidence and independence. We work through a strengths-based approach utilising the five ways to wellbeing, to help you understand how you are feeling.
We can also help you connect with your community and to access other opportunities and support through working with other Care Network teams, meeting both practical and emotional needs. We work in a person centred way recognising the importance of the individual needs at the heart of everything we do.
