West Mercia Women’s Aid is the lead regional charity working with victims and survivors of domestic abuse across Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin. Since we were established in 1982 we have been led by the principle that every person is supported according to their individual needs, personal history and experience. Our core purpose is empowerment, and our aim is not just to provide services but to build confidence and self-esteem. Our services include; Refuge, Independent Domestic Violence Advisors, age-specific support for children and young people, community-based support through Recovery and Empowerment Programmes, a 24/7 Domestic Abuse Helpline and a Male Victim support service. It is our mission to reduce the incidence of domestic abuse and other forms of violence in West Mercia, perpetrated primarily by men, by providing support, protection and prevention services that empower victims and survivors to break free from violence and abuse.

Pershore Phoenix (Pershore RFC)
Money raised at Pershore RFC by women’s sections from Pershore, Evesham and Upton-upon-Severn Rugby Clubs. Women’s rugby is very much about supporting women, developing strength and confidence so we wanted to give something to help support women who are victims of abuse.
