It takes visitors on a journey through more than a century of flight, from the earliest pioneers of powered flight, through to space exploration and future technologies. Offering a dynamic learning programme that supports the National Curriculum in science, technology, engineering and maths and provides hands-on learning activities for young people with a range of interactive workshops. As a charity, the museum relies on donations to support its work in learning and outreach work in the local community and the conservation of precious artefacts.
