Children's Minibus Appeal

Berkshire Vision, the new working name of the Berkshire County Blind Society, is a local registered charity with over 100 years of expertise and experience in the provision of services, advice and support to over 2,000 visually impaired people across Berkshire. We provide support to children and adults of all ages who are blind or partially sighted. We help boost self-esteem and independence through social clubs, home visits, sports and activities. From trips to West End shows, canal boat trips, fish and chip lunches, tandem cycling and sensory touch tours for our younger Members. There are many causes of sight loss, from being born blind to losing sight in childhood or as young adults, and those affected by age related Macular Degeneration or Glaucoma later in life. There are many other conditions that affect the people we support, including Nystagmus, cone dystrophy and many more.
