We are raising money to purchase food packaging, toiletries and essential food for people who are isolated and vulnerable during the Coronavirus crisis in Brighton and Hove. Key workers across the city who are purchasing and distributing these items need your help. Food banks and emergency food services rely on donations and surplus food, but there is not a sufficient supply during this time of crisis. It is therefore essential the organisations we support begin to purchase wholesale and bulk items to meet this demand. Essential items include:
· Soap and toiletries
· Antibacterial products
· Food
Key workers across the organisations we support are also ensuring deliveries are made safely with no contact.
Fair Share and the Brighton Centre will be main points of distribution and all the local food banks will continue their operations to the capacity they are abl. The Chomp project at Moulsecoomb will continue to provide free meals for children and youth while schools are closed.
Your donation will help support local emergency food services that ensure isolated and vulnerable people have access to food and essentials.
