Each of our rabbits are vet checked, neutered and vaccinated against myxi / RHD and RHD2 before they go to their new homes. We do ask for a donation when our rabbits are adopted but it doesn't cover the cost of their recouperation with us. We also have our long term bunnies who need regular vet trips to ensure they stay fit and well during their life stay with us. We are looking to raise funds to support the ongoing vet costs we incur each month ensuring our rabbits get the best possible care.

We have donated today in honour of our rescue rabbit Bert, who was put to sleep yesterday. We had Bert for 8 years but he was an adult rabbit when he came to us from a local rescue shelter I was volunteering at. He had numerous dental ops over the years, so I know how expensive these can be and therefore rather than paying for his ashes to be returned to us, we have decided to donate to help other rabbits in need instead.
