In 2019, if all who attended The Hootie had donated £1 each, we would have raised £30,000. In reality, the donations totalled less than 10% of this.
The Hanwell Hootie Music Festival is a FREE one day event held each May in Hanwell, West London. We are a not for profit festival run entirely by volunteers from all sections of society and are a registered community interest company. To run The Hootie we pay for stages, speakers, lighting, licenses, permits, clean up and security and many other costs across the venues. Some of this is funded by the generous donations of sponsors, but the rest is raised through the donations of those who have enjoyed a great day out!
We believe strongly that everyone should have the opportunity to experience real live music. We pay all our musicians a good fee to play as we understand how hard it is for bands to get a platform to perform in London. We showcase young talent on our designated youth stage giving the young people a unique opportunity to gain vital stage experience.
By supporting the Hanwell Hootie, you will be directly contributing to the promotion of live music and the numerous benefits it can bring.
Please help us in raising £20K toward the costs of the Hanwell Hootie keep live music alive!
