Mamas in need is a charity formed to help vulnerable and disadvantaged pregnant women

Mamas in need is focused on the following: 1. To preserve and protect the health of pregnant women, both during and after birth, in rural villages in Africa, in particular but not exclusively, through the following: a. Providing services, equipment and other necessary items directed at improving their pre-natal and post-natal conditions of life. b. Providing training and educating midwives on basic maternity care. c. Providing equipment and other support to medical centres who provide maternity treatment. 2. To preserve and protect the health of women in rural villages in Africa by raising awareness and providing education in matters of domestic violence, female genital mutilation and other related subjects.
