2020 has been a very difficult year and we want to continue reaching out to the people who are suffering the most with no benefits system or furlough scheme in their communities. We want to reach out and bring joy and hope into their lives this Christmas.
Thousands of pregnant mothers and mothers with new babies will continue to turn to Mamas in need of support over this period and we will continue the work we started.
We want to be there for all the families who are facing poverty because of this pandemic. For the mothers struggling to feed their children. For the pregnant mother who might not make it back home due to lack of basic equipment at the hospital. For mothers suffering from domestic violence. For the maternity centres that have no medical equipment to work with. The pandemic and lockdown restrictions have made life very difficult leaving mothers to choose to die of Coronavirus or dying of hunger.
What we are doing this Christmas
These are some of the ways we will be supporting people at Christmas this year:
- Distributing thousands of birth packs to Mums to be
- Giving Christmas food parcels to families who are struggling to feed their children
- Distributing toys to children in the villages whose parents are unable to afford presents
- Distributing medical equipment to Maternity centres
All of the above can only be possible with your donation.
