Our mission is to conserve Charles Rennie Mackintosh and Miss Catherine Cranston’s remarkable Willow Tea Rooms building at 217 Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow, presenting it as it was when it opened in 1903, while creating a sustainable future for the building and preserving its historical and social legacy for Glasgow, for Scotland, and for the world.

I saw MacKintosh’s work at the Kelvingrove Museum and knew i needed to go to the tea room. I love the idea of preserving this historic setting.

The Willow Tea Rooms are a great tribute to CR Macintosh and MM Macintosh. A great business model too … charitable status.

This is an important building and a great experience. I did the tour and exhibition then had tea and it was all wonderful. I especially want to acknowledge Yvonne in the shop and Heather a tour lead.
