Cathie Pilkington: Working from Home
6 October 2018 – 31 March 2019
In our most ambitious contemporary intervention yet, sculptor Cathie Pilkington RA explores the relationship between public and private life in an immersive takeover of the upstairs rooms of the 18th century townhouse. 30 of her figurative constructions sit amongst a selected group of works from the Gallery’s permanent collection.
The installation is part of RA250, a nationwide programme celebrating the 250th anniversary of the Royal Academy of Arts.
How can I help? As a charity, we rely on your support to maintain the breadth of our exhibition programme and to enable us to work with contemporary artists who can bring new perspectives on our collection.
