Press Red raises awareness of violence against women and girls across the world and helps educate and empower people to make a difference.

Across the world, women aged between 15 and 44 are more likely to be harmed by violent acts than by cancer, malaria, and road traffic accidents combined. This abuse takes many different forms, ranging from domestic violence to female genital mutilation, rape, sex-selective abortion and trafficking. Press Red is a Christian charity which works to initiate change through raising awareness of these abuses and their impact on women, their families and communities, and signposting opportunities to get involved in making a difference. We are active nationwide and use events, focus groups, drama, music, training opportunities and much more to educate and challenge people and organisations to stand up to these horrors.
