Sheep Ahoy Animal Rescue take in sheep and lambs with very unique needs who often require considerable veterinary treatment or ongoing medication.
Biscuit is a lamb who was found barely alive amongst a group of dead lambs and who needed urgent care to survive. Sheep Ahoy give that care but it comes at a financial cost to the charity.
NO ONE gets paid at the charity but we have ongoing monthly bills which we are struggling to pay due to substantial increases over the past couple of years.
We have taken in more poorly sheep, taken on more grazing due to the increased number of sheep, feed prices have increased substantially, hay prices have increased, existing field rent has increased substantially, vet bills have increased due to having more sheep plus medication costs have increased too.
Struggling isn't the word I think it's juggling money to pay the critical bills first!
We are unable to take in more animals at the current time which is heartbreaking as there is a little blind lamb with no eyes who needs an experienced home but we've had to say 'No'
If you can help at all with a regular monthly donation or a one off donation Biscuit and everyone would really appreciate it.
Thank you from Biscuit and Sheep Ahoy x
