Welcome to the St Peter’s Brackley auction!

St Peter’s Church is, and has been, a place for worship, weddings, funerals, baptisms, and community events for over 800 years. It is the only Grade I Listed Building in Brackley and has the largest churchyard in the county.

Today the church is bustling with activity and is a cherished community asset, enjoyed by the whole town.

However, a recent architectural inspection revealed the need for some urgent and substantial items of work to the church buildings and churchyard costing £412,000. These are essential works to keep the buildings and churchyard safe and usable.

We have therefore launched our “800 Appeal” – in our 800th anniversary year, we’re seeking to preserve this historic and vital part of our local town culture and community life.

All proceeds raised from this auction will go to our restoring, repairing and securing St Peter’s Church and its surroundings for generations to come.
