St Simon and St Jude, Bramdean is one of the seven churches in the Upper Itchen Benefice. Founded in the twelfth century, the church is a listed building that has been altered over the centuries, particularly by the Victorians in the nineteenth century. The annual village Fête in the beautiful gardens of Bramdean House will raise much needed funds for the mainenance and upkeep of the fabric of the church and for its other charitable purposes.
Additionally, 10% of the proceeds will go towards two local charities, Home Start - Winchester & District, providing friendship, emotional and practical help to families in and around Winchester, and Winchester Youth Counselling, providing counselling, therapy and mental health support for young people.
