The charity provides unique and essential amenities to local residents in the 2nd most deprived ward in the East Riding of Yorkshire. We are open 52 weeks per year, 6 days per week. We deliver services that were previously duties of the local authority, e.g., youth services, meals on wheels, activities for those isolated or lonely. Many of our visitors come from Old Goole, and the surrounding Marshland villages where there is a high proportion of rural isolation. However, there are no restrictions on people who live outside this area from using our resources and services. We harness a holistic approach, treating people with the respect they deserve, regardless of circumstance.
Services include, a Meals on Wheels service, Luncheon Clubs, recreational trips/outings, a Migrant Support service, youth clubs, a detached youth project, to name a few. You could say, we deliver from cradle to grave!
