The renovation of an historic London building as a resource to educate all people in transport, its history, present, and future opportunities.

The Carmen, as a City of London Livery Company involved in transport since 1517, is renovating a 180 year old historic building in London for the use as an educational resource. The building will serve all sections of society to inform and educate them on the past, present, and future potential, of all forms of transport. The building incorporates lecture and meeting spaces, and a publicly accessible museum covering the history of transport and the Carmen Livery Company’s involvement in this vital part of everyday life.
