TramShed is an Inclusive Theatre Company and charity based in Blackpool, Wyre and Fylde. We offer Inclusive performing arts to all children, young people and adults, no matter what their background, experiences or needs. We offer a safe and stimulating theatre environment which allows each individual to learn new skills, build confidences and showcase their talents. No one is excluded at TramShed, only celebrated.
TramShed run weekly Inclusive performing arts workshops at Woodlands school in Blackpool. The workshops unite people from all areas of our community. We stage two Inclusive performances at Blackpool Sixth Form Theatre every year. All material is written in house and the membership base devise ideas to create the material used.
Work in the community is fundamental to TramShed as it allows us to access many people who have previously been excluded from the performing arts through no reason of their own. TramShed offer an extensive Outreach programme to all schools throughout the North West. We also deliver the Bronze and Silver Arts Award and are an accredited Arts Award Centre.
TramShed Theatre Company relies heavily on public support and every donation helps to ensure we can continue our inclusive work in the local community.
Thank you for your support.
