Each year it costs us thousands in oil and electric to keep the animals at the sanctuary warm. With these costs increasing at an unimaginable rate it gives us a great deal of worry.
Our numbers this year have been the higest in over 5 years, with 197 animals oon site at the start of October and 189 at the start of November. Numbers are still high now as we go into 2024 and we have many, many more due to arrive in the next week.
We have over 50 animals considered elderly or vulnerable, which often need warmer environments.
All donations made, be it large or small will make a big difference and help us and help ease the pressure on our resourses.
